Coin Flipping
On the left is a simulation of a fair coin. The coin can be flipped by repeatedly clicking the Flip coin button. The figure keeps track of the number of flips, and the number of heads that appear. It then calculates and displays the probability of getting a head.
Flip the coin a number of times. What is the expected probability of flipping a fair coin and getting a head? Is the probability given by the simulated coin dramatically different than the expected probability? If you haven't flipped the coin at least 20 times, do so. Now is the found probability very different from the expected frequency.
